The odd count breaks symmetry, giving a more organic, non-repeating surface that reduces stress concentration points - actually improving fatigue resistance in dynamic applications like towing ropes. It also gives a premium visual appearance valued in yachting and decorative industrial ropes.
Q:Can I run both heads with different materials or diameters?
A:
Yes. Each head has its own take-up and tension system, so you can load one head with, say, polyester for a 12mm rope and the other with steel wire for a 20mm cable - all on the same machine, simultaneously.
Q:What is the maximum diameter achievable with this model?
A:
With standard bobbins and carrier settings, the machine reliably produces 25mm round braids. For custom applications, we can adjust carrier spacing and take-up speed to reach up to 28mm, depending on material and braid density.
