The base of this mechanism is a welded rectangle of heavy square steel tubing divided by vertical cross members.
Two short diagonal tubes rise from the inner frame to form raised peaks at the top of the structure.
Large loops of thick steel rod are hinged at the top of each peak so they can swing forward or fold flat.
Holes spaced along the tubing allow the frame to be screwed down to a wooden platform or cabinet structure.
The raw steel surface with weld tint shows that this part is an internal mechanism designed to be hidden inside furniture.
