This mechanism forms the pull-out bed section of a sofa and is photographed fully extended against a plain background.
The sleeping surface is divided into two decks, with horizontal wood slats at the head end and a grid of interwoven black webbing at the foot end.
Curved front legs ending in square plastic feet support the outer edge and carry flat brackets with pre-drilled holes at their base.
The middle and rear sections fold through riveted pivot arms, and a long horizontal tension spring assists the folding motion.
Plastic feet under the central supports and a thin rail across the head end complete the structure that tucks inside the sofa when stored.
